Unveiled again in Stockholm September 2018, the Mercedes-Benz EQ line started as a concept SUV at the 2016 Paris Motor Show but has been making significant progress to be released in the United States in 2020. As other manufacturers of luxury vehicles have been rolling out their newest all-electric SUVs it is impressive to see so many innovations. At Mercedes-Benz of Durham we are always excited to talk about the newest information on these models, so be sure to contact us if you have any questions!

What We Know So Far

There is a lot that is still unknown, but we have managed to get our hands on several key pieces of information. For starters, it is expected to have a range of around 279 miles based on some initial testing. This efficiency is attributed to the use of two electric motors running the Mercedes-Benz EQC: one in the front for efficiency and one in the back for power. These two motors run in tandem to produce up to 402 horsepower and a zero-to-sixty time of just under five seconds.

The upcoming model has a standard Mercedes-Benz crossover design but has tints of blue on many exterior features, as well as having rose gold accents around the dashboard.

How Our Dealership Can Help
