2019 Mercedes-Benz SLC in Durham

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz SLC Roadster is the Compact Convertible You've Been Dreaming Of

Modeled in the image of the brand's flagship convertible, the 2019 Mercedes-Benz SLC is a smaller, more accessible version of the pinnacle of luxury travel in a two-door sports car--but being a step down in size doesn't mean that this model compromises an inch in premium performance and features. For 2019, trim levels include the Mercedes-Benz SLC 300 and the Mercedes-Benz AMG SLC 43.

A Cabin That Uses Magic

Well--Mercedes-Benz magic, that is. With available features like the AIRSCARF® neck-level heating system, that can gently push warmed air around your shoulders and neck when driving with the top down in cooler weather, and MAGIC SKY CONTROL®, which actually uses a fluid particle field to change the sunroof from opaque to transparent, this roadster does seem magically comfortable. And that's even without the premium leather seat upholster and multi-stage climate-controlled seats.

A Classic Exterior, Compacted

The wide, star-struck grille of the 2019 Mercedes-Benz SLC--complete with the bold three-pointed star and framed by intelligent lighting features--is classic and clean, sleek and almost a little modest. Defined character lines flow back to a subtly rounded rear end, all complemented by a short, hunched roofline that marks it unmistakable as a Mercedes-Benz roadster. Whether the roof is up or down, it cuts a pretty picture.

Rear-Wheel-Drive Athleticism

The rear-wheel-drive 2019 Mercedes-Benz SLC 300 Roadster comes standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that's good for 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque and pairs to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Bump up to the 2019 Mercedes-Benz AMG SLC 43 for a 3.0-liter V6 bi-turbo engine, good for 385 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. 4MATIC® All-Wheel Drive is not an option at this time.

Tech and Safety

Both models offer the same option packages--that offer, or can add, features like Mercedes-Benz's infotainment system with a standard touchscreen, Bluetooth with audio streaming, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Wi-Fi hot spot, and COMAND Navigation. Blind spot warning, parking assist, and a Harman Kardon stereo system are new options that be added as standalones.
